Tina Duplessis • Program ManagerAfter receiving her AA in Administration of Justice from Honolulu Community College, Tina moved to San Diego where she continued her studies and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology with an emphasis on Justice Studies from The California State University. She has worked for many years with children in the fields of corrections and residential care. More recently, Tina has focused on residential care and began working at Milestone in 2005. Soon, she was recognized for her excellent work ethic and professionalism and was promoted to program manager.
Michelle Zambrana • Assistant Program ManagerMichelle has made working with children in need her life’s work and is dedicated to providing children with the best care possible. Since 1999, she has worked in many childcare settings, and has become an advocate and aid for many children after they age out of the foster care system, providing them with a network of assistance that started at Milestone and has now grown into Fostering Adulthood. Michelle will earn her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix in January of 2012 after which she will pursue a Master’s degree.
Nanette Soto • Program Social WorkerNanette graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Master’s of Science in Counseling - Marriage and Family. She is a registered MFT intern. For the past ten years, Nanette has worked with children and families in a variety of settings in Los Angeles and Orange County.
